Dr. Stacey White
Gerontologist & Registered Representative
Dr. Stacey White is a pioneer in the field of Financial Gerontology, combining her expertise in aging with decades of research and advocacy for older adults. Her work examines the intersection of longevity, cognitive health, and the social dimensions of aging, helping individuals and institutions prepare for the realities of later life.
Stacey earned her Doctorate in Longevity Arts and Sciences from the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston, and a Master’s degree in Gerontology from USC. Her academic and professional journey reflects a lifelong commitment to understanding the aging process and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.
Her research focuses on Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and mild-to-moderate dementia, as well as strategies to reduce loneliness and isolation among older adults. During the COVID pandemic, Dr. White was nationally recognized as a member of the George H. W. Bush Points of Light Honor Roll for her efforts to support seniors in Dallas.
Dr. White is a sought-after speaker and thought leader. Her TED Talk, Memento Mori: The Art of Living with the End in Mind, explores how embracing mortality can transform the way we live, plan, and connect with others. This message underscores her commitment to reframing aging as an opportunity for growth and meaning.
As part of her professional work, Dr. White studies regional, global, ethnic, and religious customs surrounding aging and longevity. Her mission is to advance understanding of aging and foster solutions that enhance quality of life for older adults and their families.
